After The Rain

No rainbow above to be seen,
but, a clear heaven.
Thick and gloomy mists have turned thin,
while mind is relieved of burden.

The dark sky has poured out its pain,
Now serenity –
it fills your heart as hope remains.
You reach out with keen certainty.

The cold weather has subsided,
hence, warmth creeps within.
Frost inside the soul has melted,
and happiness is felt again.
