Stolen Beauty

Vibrant look vanishes.
A bright face into gloom.
Pink blush diminishes.
An ashen pallid look.
It took her youth.
Lovely smile, gone astray.
Cruel bed of tranquil,
a sorrowful embrace.
The true beauty remains,
her pure loving soul.

Faith in Miracles

She sleeps…
Her gentle breathing makes her serene.
She dreams…
Nice memories, loved one, inspirations.
She sighs…
The promise of everlasting peace.
She stirs…
With all my heart, I pray…
There is still hope.

Heaven's Promise

Her tears wouldn’t stop.
The decision was in her hands.
She’s helpless… confused,
as she watches a loved one dies.

She loathed the fact.
Yet, she must face it and accept.
A real dead-end.
She only wished, she wasn’t there.

She hated herself,
to think its all for the best.
She loves him so much.
to see him in pain, an ill luck.

She cries, stares outside,
beyond the clearest glass-window.
She looks at the sky,
orange and violet colors.

Such beautiful sight!
Amazing… delightful picture.
More pain-stabs in her heart.
But then, her mind begins to clear.

She silently prays,
lets go of her precious father.
God will be with him.
No more suffering in heaven.

Songs of the Past

Remember yesterday,
with that voice and blond hair.
You said one night you’ll stay,
with him, one silly dare.

Remember my own song,
as I make my choices.
A memory, I long-
my bed of roses.

Remember our sweet friend,
her love with boyz to men.
That music will not end,
even in our heaven.

Remembering my peers,
their stories and courage.
Songs eventually cease,
yet, these won't ever fade.

Sonnet 074

A hymn inside my head, your voice so dear,
you haunt me in my sleep and in my wake.
Somewhere deep within, your whisper I hear,
crisp and clear, as perfect as a heart ache.
Sad images I keep, nightmares I take.
Still, I go forward onto my own road,
towards the rising sun for my soul’s sake.
How I’ve prayed my heart be free of this load-
of the memory of your lovely voice,
or a tomorrow not meant for this world.
Thus, heart’s happiness is always a choice,
to go on and live as a wise man told.
Forever lingering, scars will not mend,
yet, someday its feel a forgotten fiend.

'Letting go.'

Dragonflies

The breezy clear weather of June,

and the scent of grass, a dejavu.

Colorful dragonflies flutter,

as the wind sings its beautiful tune.

My coming back to an old place,

your peaceful world that was once my own

Everything here, a reminisce,

without you, not a home anymore.

I used to hunt for dragonflies,

their magnificence, I want to keep.

You had been angered by it,

worried about my little mischief.

Yet you never said, I love you,

my foolishness, your disappointment.

I loathed you, but couldn’t hold.

You are always a father to me.

The gentle wind blows once again,

scattering dragonflies by the field.

Teary- eyed, I searched the heaven,

your new tranquil place with God.
